Hola amigos y famililia!First off, let me say that I am super sorry to anyone who emailed me last week, I am not sure what happened, but none of them sent out and I got a weird error, so I will go through and send them all again. Been a pretty good week though! Not a lot of exciting stuff, but plenty of good times. The weather has also been really neat-o. It has cooled down to a solid low-60's. Still a little warm, but so much better than what it's been like! Hope the weather back home is good! I'm making try a different format for this week and see if it works.Tuesday: This week, we did something called exchanges. Basically you just switch companions with another companionship for a day or two to learn more about how they teach and see if you can apply it to your teaching. For exchanges, I went with Elder Tracy to their area, and Elder Shepard came to our area with Elder Cook (Elder Cook is my companion). It was super cool seeing how different Elder Tracy teaches and finds. We also got to eat dinner with a member family that night! Their area covers a lot of people with a ton of money, so the place that we ate at was absolutely massive on a lake with a dock and speed boat and long story short, I felt unworthy to be in the house XD. Super nice people though.Wednesday: So, Elder Tracy and Elder Shepard are english missionaries. While I was knocking with Elder Tracy on Wednesday, we knocked into a guy that spoke only spanish, so I took over. I was pretty proud of myself for holding the conversation, but he was very very uninterested when we brought up why we were there... I learned some fun new words after that interaction, haha. We also had dinner that night again (apparently dinner from members is a ton more common for english missionaries), sure fancy Italian restaurant that charged an absolutely disgusting amount, but it was 10/10. There were things on my chicken that I could not pronounce, but man was it good. Went back to my area that night.Thursday: We met so many awesome people Thursday! Frank has a pretty sad past, but has worked his way out of some really bad situations and is now living in an apartment with his wife and little kid! Jasmyn is a single mother with two adorable 3 year-olds and is really interested in how much this gospel helps in raising families and how much help our church offers to those in need. The last one is named Amanda, we knocked on her door and after explaining a little about our church, she immediately asked us to come in and tell her more. She was super interested and her son seemed like he liked it too! She loves that we just believe that everyone deserves to be loved no matter who they are, and is really excited to learn more! They were all super nice, it's awesome to finally see some progress, haha.Friday: We had a huge meeting on Friday morning for all of the trainees (less than 12 weeks in the mission). It was interesting. We watched about 3 hours worth of Safety Videos, so that was fun. We got to ask the mission president some questions, so that was neat. Other than that, just a ton of information on stuff like cars, apartments, tablets, etc. That basically took up the entire day, because it was an hour drive from our aprtment. We did meet a guy named Addison that night though. He is a firemen with three hurricanes, or as he calls them "kids". Super neat guy, but super busy, so meeting with him is going to be really rough.Saturday: We had a baptism on Saturday! It was not an investigator we had been teaching, but it was super awesome to go and watch it happen, the guy was so happy! That night, we had a fun ward Halloween party where I got to meet some more ward members and eat a ton of food, good times...Sunday: None of our Investigators could make it to church, so that was sad, but it was a pretty good day. Something I have forgotten to mention is how fun and different the Spanish meetings are, haha. Latino people are just so much more fun, and that translates into their meetings. While it usually doesn't get too out of hand to where the spirit can not reside, it is just more fun and lively, I'm a fan. We met a less active man named Hector, and he was pretty cool. He does photography and makes music, he plays the piano, mandolin, and guitar all super well.So yeah, solid week, let me know if you hate this format. Thanks again to all of you back home who are making me want to continue this journey! Like I have said earlier, this stuff can get pretty overbearing at times, but it is 100% worth it, especially knowing I have all of you back home cheering me on! haha, thanks for everything, LOVE Y'ALL!!!<3 Elder Fox~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Felisa CumpleaƱos Jensen!
