12/18/2017 I had to be a big boy this week ... not a fan

Hola familia y amigos!

This week, I made the decision to check the weather back home every now and then for fun. It was a bad decision. The cold snap was amazing, but it's back to that crisp 80° for the rest of "winter". That should be good for my weather rant this week. Other than that, it was a pretty intense week work-wise, but not a ton of stuff really happened to write home about. This was my last week of training, so I had to be the big boy boss man of our companionship, which was not something I ever want to do again because responsibility scares me. We did meet some neat people though, so onto that!

I think I have talked about her before, but there is a lady named Susan whose son just converted and is now on a mission. She is super awesome, and is down to be baptized, but her husband is still devoutly catholic. We have finally been teaching them a little though. We met an awesome guy who was working on his motorcycle named Colt. He works security and is trying to get into the Marines. He is really open minded and asks tons of good questions. Met a few others, but not a whole lot of people were very interested.

Other than that, we have been doing some stuff for Christmas that has been fun. We had a ward Christmas party. I have gotten a few Christmas cards from some of yall and those were the best and made my week! I am making mountains of cookies to invite some old Investigators to our Christmas choir performance on Christmas eve. Apartment is extremely decorated. It's a good time. Christmas is the best.

Sorry this email is a short one. The week went by crazy fast. It was still super awesome though! I still love just being out here and serving night and day, it's a a blast! I hope you all have an incredible Christmas next week, and I can not grunted I will be sending a weekly (super stoked to call family though). I love you all and hope you enjoy this time to be with those you love! And if you find any chance to make someone else's Christmas incredible, please do it! LOVE YALL!!!

Spanish Practice:
XD
