Sorry, really busy PDay 4/15/2018

Hola todos amados!

Sorry, this email is going to be very short, it's been a crazy PDay, please forgive me. Not a whole lot to report on this week. Weather is still hot, humid, and not fun, food is still amazing (I actually ate a traditional meal from a Kenyan this week and it was wacky, but super good, food from different cultures is 11/10 so far), still teaching the same people, didn't really meet anyone new this week, etc. I do want to talk about a lady we met named Margaret really quick, she is from Trinidad and is like 70. We knocked on her door, waited like 2 minutes, rang the bell (usual knocking protocol if ya didn't know), then waited a bit longer and started to walk away, when she came out, we talked to her, and she was super closed off, but we just asked if there was anything she needed, and she had us lift some heavy boxes into her car. She was super grateful, and opened up a ton! She said that she has ignored or shooed off every Mormon, Jehovahs Witness, Baptist, etc. That has knocked on her door, but she just had a strong urge to open it for us all of the sudden. We ended up explaining who we were/what we did, and she was skeptical, but accepted to read the BoM! It was pretty simple, but it was really cool to see just how powerfully the Holy Ghost urged her to open that door, and what that simple act of service did to open her heart! I think that is something neat about the Gospel, it's all about opening! Never Closing or shutting out. The love offered by Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, The Holy Ghost, and us opens everyone's ears, minds, hearts, and souls! It's awesome! Heavenly Father continually opens doors for us, or let's us choose which to open, Jesus Christ awaits us to open the door to our heart to let Him in, The Spirit opens our minds to spiritual knowledge, it's just so cool to me, that the Gospel is all about taking steps through "doors"! I know it's a little out there, but I just feel like that is something that can really make a difference in everyones life if we realize that the only people that close doors is ourselves. So let Them open this doors, and trust Them enough to go through them! I LOVE YALL!!! HAVE AN AWESOME WEEK!!!
